Has a million outcomes, better than reality
 The investigator of a case or a damsel in distress
The quantity of my options are more than most single libraries can hold
But the quality of the high is through another writers rabbit hole
Imagination sparks and a movie begins to unfold
an adventure making the mundane world a bit more bearable
A captivating escape with the end drawing closer, the more pages I turn
An emotional twisting ride that keeps me coming back for more

It's a day where the clouds surround my head though the sun is still shining outside
The broken record of repetitive thoughts and outcomes that do nothing but allow the draw
Of a shuddering breath without the release of pain
Circulating in my body like poison where I either vomit or scream just to creat a distraction
My mind always presents the same solution but the past taunts with dreading possibilities
The dangers when I stay in my head too long
The dark creeps forward as my wings shiver from the heaviness
My soul secretly chants its candle lit mantra
In hopes I wake up and slip back into the light again
